just read this last page of posts and noticed you mentioned.....
"advisory on the last MOT for front indicators not being bright enough"
Then you later commented you replaced the standard light bulbs - so the standard bulbs not good enough or they decreased their brightness over time?
Not sure if this is an issue anyone has experienced or if they know what might be the issue.
I have previously asked about the air con not doing its job good enough to keep me cool during last summer. Even set to Lo, the air was never getting very cold enough to get it nice and cool inside the...
I've just noticed one side of my parcel shelf is missing the part that hooks in the back to hold it down. See pictures.
Is this a part I can get from audi or Eb*y.
If so what is it actually called / part number? Or is this part of the whole parcel shelf?
OK, so from everyone's comments there must be something wrong. I think the Kwik fit person was simply not bothered to do any work that day!
I will take it elsewhere and get it checked.
the fans are all working as i can hear them kicking in/working. if anything slightly on the noiser side, but...
I have my S3 air con (or is it climate control!) on low/automatic for a really long time and just never gets that cold.
I once took it to quick fit to check it. He put his hand near the bellowing vents and said it seems ok to him, granted it was just slightly 'cooler" than normal at that time...

third car was a manual BMW 635csi (X reg), went after 10 years.
Each of the above are now worth a bob or 2 - would I have changed anything? No, far too much hassle storing , keeping in good...

you also mention ...so far..Blimey how much more are you planning in piling in? I guess it will be enhancements and not more general maintenance spending!
obviously a very cheap fix, but for those of us not quite with this skill , surely a new replacement pump is around £130 ?
I've seen some new ones on ebay..I suppose you are saving a fortune if you compare even at that price, but I dont think its overly expensive at that price.
I was recently thinking the exact same thing!
I am sure when I ran the test a few years ago I could hear it quite easily sitting in the car, but when i just tried it - nothing...nada!
....Tried the test, not that I am experiencing any haldex issues
Interested to hear from others. Please go try it!
this looks like yours..
doesn't look too expensive to me..30 days warranty.
OK, so i was an extremely patient person and I would say one lucky person.
I had the issue for a about 2 years+ , simply taking it easy when doing those U turns, etc Then one day on Eb*y I saw the new one for sale in USA. I cant remember the precise details surrounding how it came up for sale...
