I’m sorry the instructions I’ve got are a combination of the copyrighted k-electronic instructions and lots of emails with their tech support.
I fitted mine using the k-electronic loom and coding dongle.
It was not straight forward, the instructions didn’t quite work - the pins you had...
Assuming the loom has the same connections as mine you need to connect the following:
Parking Brake connector:
- Solder Grey to the cable in Pin...

Mine in on Long Life but I changed the oil and filter last weekend as a interim. Straight forward but it takes about 5.5 litres.

I've not felt any issues with lag - unless you count the - try to pull away, no forward motion, switch off, wait two minutes, start, pull away......
Not sure... Trying to keep an open mind.
