I found this on youtube. Mufflers are cheap too! I would just be replacing the muffler. What do you guys think of the sound?

It sounds much better than stock, thats for sure
 
Yeah hence my question, if so, i will look at pointing him to the 'zine as they have many members using Magnaflow etc
 
hey all, yes i'm stateside. i'm a part of a two other US based forums but they never respond and when they do, i get nothing answered because their answers are vague. you guys here are pretty responsive and seem to know a lot, so... :)

so anyway what is zine? and i don't really want to remove anything else but the muffler. i know a guy here who works on european cars (and has worked on all our cars for a while which happen to all be european cars) and he mentioned that its easier and quieter to keep everything on but just swap out the muffler. i'm not looking for an annoying ricer sound. i just want more a throaty rumble sound than stock. and thats not to mention, this muffler is cheap too, which is a huge incentive!

Sounds good, quite a raspy sound, bit like an R32. I like it.
Mines straight through from the cat back with a twin 3.5" ashley competition back box, nice deep sound and quite offen pops when down shifting and easing off the throttle, much better without the centre box in my opinion
 
ok well it better be good because i just bought one. I will install it and let you guys in on the sound when I have time.
 
I too have removed the centre box with a custom stainless system from cat back. Mine's not loud at all... quite disappointing really!
