Rear wiper blanking plate.

So first of all, I did search the forum

But i did only find one link to venommotorsports. Their glass plate are nice, a little expensive maybe (£23). But since I live in Sweden they dont ship it here. So I am wondering if there is another company selling a similar product?

have you thought about just a grommet and glueing it ? otherwise shipping is gonna be a bitch.I'll ask a member to comment as I recall he done it cheaper.

either the venom kit, or a 25mm rubber grommet from halfords does the trick just fine.

How does not having a rear wiper fair at MOT time?

Well I've been thinking of that. I have seen several people without rear wiper go through our comparison to your MOT and been ok. All cars do not have a rear wiper even from factory?

At my last "MOT" they did not even test the rear only front. So I am guessing it's not that important.

Surprised a company like Venom would not post to you. Tried calling them and asking? These companies are usually very good at helping a person as a one off.

I just bought a pack of generic grommets from Halfrauds and popped the right one that fitted in there.

Been sweet as a nut ever since. Probably cost 2 quid or so.

No problems. Either you have one that works, or you don't have one at all.

Similar to the rules on spare tyres.

As above, the R8 doesn't have a wiper, that will pass with no issues.

To be honest mate, I never measured it. I just bought a pack which had 5 in, and popped the one that fitted in!
