Morning everyone

Looking to buy wheels within the next 2 weeks so the search is on! :)

How wide can i go with wheels? Being the euro head that i am for god knows how many years now, i'm gonna deck the car and have it sitting nicely. I don't want any scrubbing though when i lower it! What do you guys advise?

Thanks! :)

Jay

offset will play part of the picture on how wide you can go, forinstance i have 8inch wide wheels but spaced out to give an et10 i could probably only just get another 10mm wider if i were to strech tyres and possibly raise susspension.
what wheels have you got in mind??? think in general no more then 9.5 wide offset dependant. spacers can always be used after, cheaper option then buying wheels that dont fit and having to send back or sell them on. also with spacers you can fit the wheel and then you have a platform as to how wide you want to then push the wheel out and buy spacers to allow that push

I am in the same boat as you dj-troopa, but i have been offered a set of genuine S5 alloys that have only done like 200 miles!!!

But i know ill need adapters for the 112 fitment, and the wheels are 245-35-19's, not sure what the offset is?? The question is whether they would simply be to big for the arch?! lol

The fronts is a bit trickier, but there's loads of room in the rear on an S3, I reckon you can get 255 section tyres under them with no mods.
