I Recently upgraded my Audi S3 2008 with MTM mapp, Milltek full system and KN air filter.

The engine behaves somewhat strange.

If I lie on a constant speed with for example 2500 rpm, and then press the clutch and simultaneously release the gas pedal, the rev. has the same speed, until 1-2 seconds, before it turn down.

The rev. speed drops fairly rapidly down to 1500 rpm (even if the rev. have been 6000rpm), then the rev will go down in intervall of 100 rpm, where each 100 rpm takes 1-2 seconds, until the idle has been reached.

This means that the car does not run smoothly on the engine brake (agile queue run), and the engine does not slow down immediately when I release the gas pedal.

There is also a bit tricky when you lose the tracktion on the wheels and release the gas pedal, it takes 1-2 seconds before the engine gives feedback on this.

The cat. in the Milltek system is 200 cells.

Fuel consumption is about 15% higher at constant speed of 90 km/h.

I have some thoughts on what this might be due to, and wonder if anyone else have/had the same problem, or know the answer to this.

Could it be dump valve, which releases the pressure wrong?
Faulty Lambda sensor value?
Wrong input from the air mass sensor?
Wrong current to the injection system.

Someone who has any qlue?

can you get a vag-com scan done on your car? that should show something which will help you solve the issue.

I have the same problem, changed the dump valve, nothing, vag com showes no errors, air mass sensor is ok but still nothing...

Does it sit on idle ok? Mine was doing something weird like this a while back and it turned out to be the breather valve.

Worth a thought

It runs well in idling.
Do you also have MTM mapp?
I am still waiting for an answer from my dealer.

was your breather hose oily and greasy? got the same problem, no errors on vag-com, diverter is fine, air mass sensor too, but i found that pipe and hope that all my problems could be soved by that. got to take car to service.

I have got feedback from my dealer, and I will got a new mapp from MTM. I Hope that will solve the problem.
