J7USS can you confirm you have a A4 B6 quattro?
if so you are better of buying a A6 2.7t. Reason I say that is like my passat the only thing you can use from the A4 B5 is engien and gearbox. Prop and diff had to come from a A6 for me as it is totaly different.
Now if your car is already 6 speed quattro then all you need is engine, loom, aircon lines, the two water pipes from the back of the engine to the heater matrix and maybe the power steering feed pipe. This is if yours is a V6 to start of with. If it isnt i am also lead to believe you will need a v6 subframe as well. I can not confirm this about the subframe but I have heard.
Again the A6 2.7t and S4 are same spec. Rs4 is a different spec engine. You could do what i did i bought a S4 engine and then put the rs4 turbos on there with a FMIC.
so with prices of S4 dropping and a6 2.7t being cheap you are better of buying the complete car sellign what you do not need and using the rest. for example if you just need engine ecu and loom get a s4 sell the gearbox and diff along with interior and put recon K03's or K04's and off you go
