Just joined the forums. Thought I would say hello!

I bought my second A4 about a month ago now - an 06 S-Line A4 2.0TDi Saloon in red - the dark raspberry colour red that I can never remember the name of!

I have had quite a few cars - this is my 38th car! I have had an array of BMWs, from M3's (coupe and convertible), 330's to a 730d and my last car I have just sold - a 535d. I have had a few Audi's too - an A3 S-Line Sportback, and a B7 A4 Avant which I bought brand new in 2005 with pretty much every option.

Bit about me - I am very much into car audio, and I am in the process of putting my ICE in my A4. I'm fabricating custom tweeter housings from the original tweeter grilles, and doing a rather large boot install that includes linear actuators. Pics will follow at some point I'm sure. I am also one of the two founder members of the Ford ST Owners Club, although I am no longer involved - mainly due to the fact I have moved on to German cars.

Audi A4 2.0TDi S-Line
2.0 Turbo Diesel
Spending loads of money on the house at the moment, so I have reluctantly decided to sell my BMW 535d. I have bought this Audi to replace the BMW for now. It's ok I suppose, but nowhere near as nice as the beemer. It'll do for getting to work and back!

Actually, I am getting to like it more now. Still think I prefer the 535d, but the Audi is still a nice car, and now I have nearly got all my audio in, it should be even better.

Er, yeah.... had 1 or 2 of them! Just too un-economical to justify now!

You are welcome anytime, but let me get it finished first! Should be only a week or so! Just need to get the passenger door speakers in the car and the head unit installed and then set it all up. I'm hoping it's going to sound pretty good!

Nice. I've not owned one of them - I have tended to stick to M3's as I love the SMG gearbox, but I do like the M5's very much too. I'm sure you are enjoying it! :sign_unfair:

Yeah, my friend I bought it off has had a TVR Chimaera, an S2000, a B10 Alpina and an E46 M3 etc,......he reckons this is the best and the fastest so far.
