Hi all,

Thought i'd join a bespoke Audi forum as i've just bought my 1st Audi.

i normally hang out on vwaf

Its a 57 reg, B7 A4 s-line Avant in Graphite Grey, 18" 8J s-line alloys, Sat nav, RNS-E i think - i have to learn about the differences in audi audio specs. (euro dvd), MFSW, 6 disc glovebox cd and ipod lead (i don't own an ipod)

All it lacking is the centre armrest, I have one in the golf and i want one in the A4, irrespective of the inconvenience it has with the hand brake. I'm quite happy to fit it my self, so i'm now off to search your forum for a how to guide.

if any one can point me in the direction of a guide or somewhere to purchase one that would also be great. I'm aware of the cheaper imitations on ebay but i'm a believer in keeping it oem.

been to the ricoh meet before, just the once though. It was apparently a 'megameet' between numerous fora, they even had the ok with the police and Tesco.

To me, it was mainly excessivly modified VAG, i prefer the OEM look using only OEM kit. That way, only a true VAG enthusiast will notice the mods.

For instance, i dislike those obviously non VAG fibreglass bumpers and those 'deep dish' wheels where the rim sticks out further than the tyre, cars with those look hideous imo.

hovever, if someone was to delock the car for example and smoothe it all out then that may go un notice by the untrained eye.

So i like mods that are subtle, that show the oem trend has been upheld and that clear thought and effort has been put in to it.

Yes i'll go to the ricoh meet again, its only 5 mins down the road.

Armrest aint cheap from a stealer.Some sell on ebay such as:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Audi-A4-Cabri...s_SM?hash=item58804e0243&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

and they come with instructions, so it cant be too hard!

Id pm pjmspeedy, he gets oem stuff a bit cheaper
