Hi All

As there has been some interest from different people on the website in regards to wanting a rear spoiler for their A3s, it might be more feasable in trying to get a group buy for an OEM spoiler from either Stafford Audi or Stoke Audi.

Please let me know if anyone is interested, if so, I'll email the suppliers to see if they are willing to knock down the price and give us a good deal.

:D

Could be, depending on if I can get one tmrw from a breakers or not.

Would also be good if they could be shipped to a bodyshop to spray them all for a discount as well!

lol - i'll ask if we could get a definate few that'll be interested.

I'd be interested if we could get the OEM ones. Not too fussed on some of the ones on ebay. Some are far too big. But i'm 100% interested :)

Ashley

id be interested in this, do you think they would be able to spray it too for a cheaper price?

I'm 100% Interested....When are you looking to do this? How would they get delivered to us? Courier?

Thanks

Ashley

Not any more. I got a proper s3/sline one off ebay for £50. Picked it up last night & it will fit on top of the existing tailgate. The only problem is the 2 bits for the screws to go as the s3/s-lines have holes drilled. The bodyshop is going to hack these off so it is flush, spray & fit for £90. Bargain.

IMO the proper sline spoiler looks much better than the vortex. The vortex just looks a bit too aftermarket & doesn't match the flow of the car.

i'd be intereted at that price, been wanting to buy one for a while, depends when you plan on buying them because i dont get for another 2 weeks :(

I'm definitely interested if this happens. Does the price include the bonding kit and can you possibly firm up on the delivery charge?

sorry for the late reply, bit busy at work.

anyway, i have put forward the questions to Stoke Audi and hopefully they will reply as soon as.

I shall keep you guys informed !

Might have to miss out unfortunately... having a few thing done to the car soon, I think if I don't restrain myself I might not stop :) Depending on when you guys are gonna go ahead with the purchase I may get one too.

I will be interested depending on when. Would be an idea to see if they can do a deal on spraying them for us too.

Keep me updated

Thanks

apologies for the late reply but i have been awaiting a response from them.

responses are:
postage £11.50
painting £125.00
bonding kit £11.00

so if anyone is interested, let them know.

ps. price of painting seems a bit too dear to be honest.

I'm interested but wont be having it painted there. I had a quote for painting a front bumper and spoiler for that much.
But 100% interested in a group buy on the spoiler
So i'm looking at about £147.50 including spoiler, bonding kit and post

Thanks

Ashley

Thanks for the effort Anty, it's appreciated and that's a good price. I haggled Glasgow Audi down to £138.81 for the spoiler and bonding kit this afternoon so when the postage is taken into account I'm going to go with that.

For information they wanted £345 to supply, paint and fit the spoiler. I'd hope to get the spoiler painted for £50 or less and fit it myself.

if interested and when you are ready, just PM or call Stoke Audi and mention "Anty's group buy for spoilers" I am pretty sure they won't mind not doing it all at once, so if you don't have the finance yet, delay it a while - not too long mind !

this is for the sportback that i asked, let me ask him what they can do for the 3 door ...

If thats a price for a sportback then thats definitely a good deal. I'm desperate for one of these, but unfotunately, cash is a bit tight at the moment..

Hi guys,
I think I will have a stab at this (my link on t'other thread)

What I am interested in is the fitting. DGM can you help please?
How do you remove the brake light and how easy is the bonding?

Dont want to force the platic or end up with a bodged job. Do you need clamps?

£50 seems a reasonable price for the painting.

Unfortunately guys, there has been a mix-up. They have now came back with correct pricing.

£125 is for 3dr
£153 is for 5dr

All other prices are correct.

Apologies if this have caused any inconvenience to people.
