Delivery date... Help needed plz..

Hiya.. I recently ordered my new A3.. I ordered it on the 30th March and recieved a phone call in the last few days saying expected delivery is end of July!... This seems a bit long?.. no?.. I was originally quoted mid-june.

Has any1 got any expected dates?.. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds right for now really.
I ordered a Black Edition on the 20th Feb and it will be arriving in the next few days. Roughly 10 weeks in total, this time is increasing at the moment.

A mate of mine has ordered a Sportback TDIe in Ibis and his delivery is now September. Thats bad but then it could be because he has ordered the 'e' model.

There is high demand for new Audis at the moment.
 
Sounds about right to me. There is nothing to say it won't come forward a few weeks though. Usually they give themselves a bit of space. I was told mine was due mid Nov, actually got it mid Oct

Oh cr*p. I just ordered a TDIe Sport as a company car - bet it's going to be ages now then. Imagine demand for those is high due to the free upgrade offer and 13% tax making it a total bargain.

Lease company website said 12-16 weeks and not many already in stock, so was expecting no later than mid-August. Ah well, maybe I'll get a 59-plate, not that I'm that fussed.
 
I ordered my new 2.0TDI Sportback on 19 February. It was built during week 16 (week beginning 13 April) and I collected from the dealers today.

The German Government's 'scrappage' scheme has proved very popular and car sales are high in Audi's home market.
 
my s3 ordered and i now have took 12 weeks to arrive and the date on the computer at audi was very accurate.... car arrived on the exact day....
 
My order date was the 20th February and just spoke with the garage and it has just arrived in the past half hour.....
 
Just logged into the leasing website and it seems that my order, placed late-April is provisionally due to the dealer in early-July with delivery to me by early-August. That'll be great if it's correct :yahoo:
 
well mine has been put back i was told it was going to be built 4 weeks ago but this is only happening this week now, so i recon allow 2 weeeks 2 build and 2 weeks to transport, i hopefully will have my car for first week of June
 
That sounds about right mate, i orderd mine mid april last year and it arrived at the dealers end of august.
 
Ordered early March. Phoned the dealer yesterday. The car has left the factory last week and is in transport. I should expect to be driving it by the end of next week (10 days time).

I was told initially I will have it late April :s
I can't wait to get rid of my existing car ... (VX Astra 1.6 2002 model)
