hi all this is really starting to annoy me now,the drivers side wiper is making a high pitched noise, when i bought the car i presumed it needed new wipers so i changed them and it still does it i'm presuming its somthing on the motor, just wondered if anyone had ccome across it ?
cheers matt

Mine sometimes does it, I just spray some WD40 into the mechanism, does the trick.

Yeh, my S4 does the same thing. It comes and goes. I'm going to take the mechanism apart when the weather improves and clean it all out.

I know it sounds simple but mine done that when i bought my car. tried changing wiper blades to no avail, changed them again and nothing happened. then i changed the screenwash and that seemed to work. i use the tesco ones and they dont streak or make that noise. i ran out the other day and pulled into petrol station and put water in and it started to scream again. so got some tesco fluid and put that in and sorted the problem again. try changing the screenwash, might not fix it for u but thats the easiest one to change, also cheapest. tesco do them at 1.99 for a 5 litre bottle.

thats what i'm starting to think now,its stopped doing it for a bit but when it does its only the drivers side wiper that does it

i guess you need to work out whether its the blade on the windscreen or the linkage thats making the noise...

If its the blade on the screen then washing the windscreen with some decent detergent and changing your screen wash might help, as might using something like rainx on the screen...

if its the linkage its likely to be the bush that the arm pivots on, i saw somthing recently about how to dissasemble and clean it out...
