Just got rid of my S3, and wanted to say thanks for all the useful advice on the forum, it's been invaluble during my ownership.

Absolutely loved the car, not a bad word to say say about it, or any of the dealers whenever I dealt with them. Lost a fair wack on it over the 8 months of ownership....almost £10k but anyway, cars make you do silly things, hence why I have just picked up a Aston V8 Vantage!

nice, there was a small section in this weeks autocar about the baby aston and how good they are as a used buy.
 
hope you join a aston forum site , you might get more problems with aston then audi hahahah but good on ya

should of kept s3 tho for everyday rainy days and snow (if we get any snow) and aston for weekends

Nothing looks as good as an ASTON on the road IMO.

Ah man that is a beautiful car, everytime I see a db9 coming down road I think its the best looking on the road & engineered as we know very well, nice one fella, enjoy it as I'm sure its been well earned
 
Nice one matey, one of the best looking cars around, simply stunning. Blagged a drive in one this time last year from Stratstone 06 plate 75k, this year same car 40k ish what a bargain.

Did you buy from a dealer or private, what sort of deal did you get ??

Yes mate, awesome car! I prefer the Vantage to the DB9. Is the next car going to be the new V12 Vantage???

Mark, I bought it from a dealer, prob paid a slight premium but I think when buying a car like this it's worth having the dealer back-up. I got a good deal, I had my eye on this specific one for a couple of weeks then the dealer reduced it by 4k, and then I managed to get another 2.5k off. So I was pretty happy, although I didn't get a great price for my S3!

It's not the most practical car.....but f**k it...you only live once!

There is one that lives near me, and the reg includes '007' somehow. Not sure if that is cool or sad...
