I am changing my standard 17" avus alloys on my silver s3 to 18" and wondered if anybody had pics of the new style s3 alloys on the old model. As i want to replace them with audi replicas i had narrowed it down to these wheels or the old rs4 replicas .Also where is the best place to buy replicas with good quality and prices. Any thoughts and pics much appreciated.

Alot of the replicas out there are very heavy compared to the standard items, and are usualy finished to a substandard level with paint that easily discolours or laquer that peels after a fairly short period of time. Plus they can often be a nightmare to have ballanced due to cheaper manufacturing processes

For quality you really are better saving up and buying some original Audi items and then getting some high quality adapters

Thanks Grathies, is that your car? It looks great and suits those wheels.Have you spotted any with the twin spoke alloys?

Oh also, what are you doing with your standard Avus? Im after a set to use as track-wheels with my Toyo 888R's so dont mind about shagged tyres or kerb marks etc

Here's mine with RS4 rep's but in silver and only 17" i'd go 18's they seem to look tones better.

Thanks for your help guys. That is the very wheels i am thinking off jojo. What are your thoughts on them.
Grathies i am thinking of keeping my avus alloys as they are still in great condition, but i will keep you in mind should i change my mind.

Personally the twin spoke S3 8P wheel doesnt do much for me, dont think it will do huge amounts for the curves and shapes of your car (Plus they are a bit boring and plain)

Let me know if you do change your mind, I run 18" Brocks but would prefer standard 17Avus for my track fun which I enjoy alot!

Silver S3s are the best too ;)

I personally they will look good, just to give it the OE look instead of over the top.

Aye, until a visit to the petrol station to fill them both is required!
