new LED running lights

I have an 2006 A6 and wondered if it is possible to fit the new front and rear LED lights as featured possibly as an option on the new A6's? Can anyone help?
 
That is the best news, car is in for a service on Monday. I will order immediately. You've made my Christmas!
 
Thanks Stan. Unfortunately my local Audi dealer won't retrofit the rear lights, they say there is a control box and wiring issue. I spoke to the chap at Stafford Audi and he insists it can be done. I will inquire about the front lights although I am not too optimistic! Thanks again.
 
Just ordered the rear LED's, I've found a local Audi garage that will fit them.
I have asked about the s6 front lights, it looks as though there is a special front grill required to fit the lights.

How did you get on Alphamail?

- I was thinking about doing similar, and wondered if they just plug straight in.

Does anyone know the coding required in VAG-COM

Is it both parts of the cluster (so four pieces in total) that are supplied?
 
They look great Gtiller. I had them installed at the garage and it took about 30 minutes. I don't think there was a great deal to it. Sorry I can't comment technically but it is really worth it.
I am hoping that there will be some kind of mod for the front either in the headlights like the R8 or the spoiler like the S6.

Big Dave, No, they are pukka Audi stock, which any Audi parts dept can flog you. I wanted the same lights as the S6 and the option that you can now have on the newer A6. Funnilly enough it was one of the members of this site who alerted me to these as featured by an Audi dealer advertising on Ebay.
 
Cheers mate. I've seen these lights on a few Avant's locally so reckon they will look sexy as **** on your motor. Looking forward to the pictures.

ahh i see . and do you have the same as me a c5 ? chassis ? mines a 98 plate ? also may i be rude and ask how much the conversion was please ?

Bigdavie, as far as I remember Alphamails Avant is a C6 model. Have a look in the pics thread. I'm near certain he has photo's there.

ahhh my apologies !:redface: i thought he was poor like me and had a c5 ! hey ho ! anyway what do other ppl think about the led rear clusters for the c5 ?
