Well its getting close and there seems to be a few people dropping out, which in all fairness I did expect to happen.

As we've recently got a few new members especially A3/S3 owners is there anyone interested in putting their car on the Rolling Road at Awesome GTI?

Its the first AS.NET Rolling Road Session at Awesome and no doubt a 1st meet for most members so will be good to put a few names to faces.

If you need any more info PM me or have a look at the thread in National Meets Section.

All AS.NET members welcome.

Sorry to sound defensive but are you taking the ****?

Read the thread, it has all the information there apart from the location of Awesome GTI which is in Irlam, Manchester.

Its for all AS.NET members only
 
Ill be there by coincidence and wont be in my car, my mate is having a TIP fitted on the same day to his Leon and may get it on the rollers if its ok with the AS guys and there is room.

Anyway, ill be saying hi and taking pics, dont be shy now :p
 
Looking forward to it, the dyno days at Awesome are really well organised and a good way to put faces to names etc (even usernames).

Could try asking on mkivs forum if struggling to make the numbers.

We're not struggling. Have about 15 people so far just trying to fill all 20 spaces. I would have asked MKIVS but they are having their own about 3 weeks later. Just a bit of extra publicity doing this!
 
Pm me with costs etc...would like to know what im running at the minute but i am standard so need to weigh up the benefits of 'knowing' with the cost of nipping over from costa del shef
 
Cant wait for this ! its the highlight of my calendar !!! (yes i am that sad)lol
Have many people dropped out ? my mate said he was well up for it in his impreza UK 300. Told him not to bother as he'd get lynched ! lol
 
I'm still on schedule to arrive for this meet/rolling road event, but only as a spectator/reserve runner, as I want to let other members go first - already have a RR printout from Awesome's rollers a few years ago.
I would have to leave around 2ish due to work commitments though, so If you want me to go on, I'd like and early slot - thanks

It is a cracking drive over the hills , do it man , it is good
I know I do it every day

HI Guys
Just a quickie to let you know that 2wd`s are £35 all in and that includes a laminated printout
The 4wd`s are £45 all in and again a laminated printout
The usual price is £55 + VAT for the 2wd`s
So it is a cracking saving and good fun too
Come on , if I have time to chat , I will find someone to take money off :D

Actually scratch that, Its the same weekend as Ultimate Dubs, might have to mark it as "tentative".. lol
 
if ours is still running ok will deffo be there ;-) shes never seen a rolling road yet!

Is there any news on running order? i.e. what time do I need to be there? My missus will cut my nuts off if I have to stay there all day!

I'm going to sort it out next week. I'll put a call into Awesome tomorrow/Monday when I get chance as ultimately its them that call the shots but I'll make sure there are a few special requests for running orders.
 
Yep not long now!!, AM slot for me please, will have family in tow and need to keep the moaning to a minimum!

Thats it mate, it's good to get a BASE plot before you start with the mod's, then we'll go back every 6/12 month and see what where running!

My car is STD at the mo , so i'll be happy if it makes STD power as ive not got a clue what it's been run on/treated for the first 6 month of it's life!

Def looking forward to this now.. aint driven the car for last 2 weeks so be nice to get it out of the garage.. its all cleaned up ready..

I shall be attending,fixed my haldex controller,sorted misfire out,fecking coil packs again!,now noticed a huge crack in the n/s engine mount,plus wifes golf mk4 windows dropped (done today)what else can happen!Got to get a mount,fit it and check everything else out,then fill her up with v-power ,millers and crank up the revo settings.Jeffers how about going up together mate?Cheers Andy

i'll be arriving around 10 i think. i don't really want to get up at 6 to be there at 9, but i will deffinately will be there! i'll take loads of pictures with my camera and upload as soon as i get back!

are we still doing the whole burger bar thing? as its gonna be alot of standing around waiting most the day!
 
Will have to be the other way round because a few of the 4wd guys need to be off pretty sharpish.

I'll give you a shout in the morning.
