Aero wipers and mats for my S3.

Hi everyone,

I just phoned euro car parts for a few prices.

I'm looking for some new mats for my car, just standard black ones which they don't sell. Also the Aero wiper upgrade with the arms, again no! The next was a new MAF that I need, also no!!!

I then rung Audi but of course as per they took my number and I know they won't ring me back.

Does anyone have any ideas?

vagparts.com for the areo wipers. Approx £50 for the front set.
Ive also seen on ebay the aero wipers which fit the standard arms for £15, dunno if there any good but for the price might be worth checking
 
Vagparts did the ones for my Corrado, cheaper than anywhere else too!!

Ive heard those retro fit wipers are pretty good though, anyone know?
 
Matts £39 from the Reading stealer!! Unsure if that is inclusive of VAT, going to get some next week! My drivers mat is knackered exactly the same way yours has gone!

Wipers got mine from them helpful gents at VAG parts!! :)

make sure you place the order by phone or net WHATEVER you do don't go to swindon as i did, the bloke who runs it went f**king mental even though i placed an order for £600. They are very good but very anal retentive.
As for mats i think its main dealer time nick.

As an alternative to the areo wipers, there are the Valeo blades sold by www.wiperblades.co.uk - you just swap over the blade - 2 min job

blades you need are:

Valeo - UM621 Silencio X.TRM Aftermarket FLAT WIPER BLADE UPGRADE 18"

&

Valeo - UM661 Silencio X.TRM Aftermarket FLAT WIPER BLADE UPGRADE 21"

cost about £22 - 25 IIRC - had them on my A3 and there a definate improvement over stock - there is a thread about them with pics somewhere
 
I have the Valeo ones in question and can say so far so good! Good clean wipe of the windscreen. As said, 2 mins job to fit, it was so easy compared to the fannying about u usually have to do. They just clip into place nice n snug.
 
As already said, mats from Audi. I have the aero blades from Wiperblades.co.uk, clip straight onto the standard arms. No hassle.
 
just got some of the bosch ones for mine, easy pay through Paypal!
 
got some of the aero wipers off ebay that fit on the original arms for £17 i think - Brilliant.
 
Cool I think I will just get the blades that clip onto the orignal arms.

Im skinto this week... gloucester is flooded... no water... club is closed... no work... no ladies for daz:crying:
 
Just done the rear wiper aero mod from VAG-parts and its 10 times better than the original. Might hafta file a tiny bit off the bottom of the plastic cover though, as it touches the rear window when you use the wiper. That or I can just leave it not quite fully clipped down. Definately a cool mod though. Just need to get the front ones now...

think you were the one who posted that link in the previous thread... ive emailed the seller... im guessing they aint sold as a pair?
 
www.justmatz.co.uk do excellent mats, really spruce up the interior, plus you can get different piles, colours, piping and logo of your choice...

I had them for my VR6 and they were excellent!!!

I'll be getting them for the S3 when funds allow...

Thanks mate I might go that route, get a small S3 logo in the corner or something like that.

Mine came as a pair if you mean just the fronts.
 
The just matz ones are amazing quality and fit, they will do a logo from a jpeg so you can have anything you like. I was going to go for plain black with the S3 logo...the boot mats look amazing as well, had the full set in my VR6. Much better than the VW mats as well.
