RS3 Build Tracker Spreadsheet

Update from my dealer saying it’s still on schedule to be built in November. I’m not sure if it will hold that timeline reading that the factory is on short working hours though.

*** Interestingly, @3vans was has the earliest FACTORY order entry on our little spreadsheet for a RS3 8Y. Patiently waiting almost a year.
Few are now getting their orders slotted into early 2023, including Vorsprung orders placed in 2021 August. 15+,month wait time.
Getting a feel, the volumes of car being manufactured for UK appears to be slowing down, instead of the expected ramp-up for the 2nd half of the year. (lets hope my crystal ball gaze is wrong).

Good morning all,
At long last I am able to post a positive message! I have a confirmed build week of week 41, Wilko 50 Black, Vors, SB. I am now just waiting confirmation of proposed delivery date Nov/Dec. If Dec should reg & take delivery Jan 2023 any thoughts or input welcome.

One potential drawback in delaying your pickup for a few days/weeks is that the Dealer may put it on display to fill up the showroom. Just a thought.

I've seen that too with an R8 and RS3. Like @RS03??? said, it's something to watch out for.

Yeah there is no requirement for your sales person to have to hand it over themselves. Just tell them you want it Saturday. It may however be that it’s not been pdi’d yet

Got it sorted. Pickimg up saturday. Pdi was done beginning of week so more than likely bonus related. Ive waited 11 months for my car, they can wait for their bonus

Called into my dealer today and he confirmed it has gone into build. He said expected pickup mid Nov, though I'm at work all of Nov so hopefully pickup beginning of Dec.

Irrelevant whether its a 22 or 23 model year as theres no difference between them spec wise but l would expect some changes on MY24 cars
 
Good Morning on a Rainy Day in UK.
Congratulations to @K44WMY and @M3 Convert who have/will pick up their cars from dealers this week.
@RSA, @Real Thing , @Joey Slats ,@Jay 1234 - are now in excited anticipation as their orders are now in Build or on their way to Dealers.
If I have missed out on anyone, above who have been informed that their order is in Build. kindly let me know to update the spreadsheet.
Total number of orders at present is about 108 of which almost 40% have been delivered in 2022 to date. Some more to sneak through is expected.
(The total is dynamic as some members have cancelled their orders.)

On my July delivered Vorsprung ODB11 says “Production date 2023” otherwise there no other sign of MY23.
Unless this is the add back in of the wireless phone box?
(And software 3801)

For anyone that's interested what the model year of their car, it's given by the 10th character of the VIN.
N = 2022
P = 2023

Interesting to know, mine is a MY23 but I thought it was a MY22.

Congratulations to those guys who collected their cars this week, hopefully your enjoying them. I also collected mine this week and currently having a few minor issues, firstly I have noticed a high spot on the paint work, there appears to be a small piece of dust/particle under the lacquer! Strangely not noticed by quality control!!
I'm also not able to log into my Audi, keeps telling me "unable to log in at this time"!! Apparently because it's the end of the month a lot of cars are logging on and the server is struggling!!!
There are so many cost saving measures on the car it's verging on embarrassing considering the expense!!
Even the tiny details like the owner's manual, which is supplied in a cardboard slip! This might be acceptable on an entry level audi but all previously owned high end cars all come with a nice leather wallet! Like I said it's only a small thing but it makes all the difference cosidering the cost! Makes me wonder what else they can cut back on!!

Same cant get logged on. Also the fact that the keyboard is greyed out in the navigation input untill you stop your car

Do the phone app at the same time as logging into the car with the code. That's what I had to do. It will sit as if it is trying to something otherwise.

Been told mine arrived at the Dealership (Harwoods) Monday Purchased through Broker so sorting out paperwork and delivery so probably be week beginning 17/10/22 before I get in it.

I'd love a car like that , that shade of red colour really makes it something special.

I was hesitant about red and almost changed it but when it rolled out of the transporter couldn't have been happier
