first time of owning a Audi, always had VW..

im after some pictures of B8/8.5 lowered on various springs, mine is a S-line and want to see the different different ride heights, I don’t fancy coil overs I was thinking 40f/35r I will also be putting the car on 20x9 rotor wheels If anyone has pictures of lowered b8 with 20s on

please post a picture and with your set up

Well I remember Bobby putting H&R on and not long swapping them out for Eibach as H&R were hard , so I guess that kinda narrows it down .

Big heavy and wide wheels destroy ride quality and vehicle dynamics .
 
Agreed - I had H&R on my old B7 S4 and they were rock hard!! I put Eibach on my Tiguan and they rode like stock (only lower!) :)

Here's my Dynamik, it's lower than standard 20/30mm probably...tbf I'm not too sure lol, 15mm spacers all round on 19's without any issues.

kw v3’s wound right down on the rear and front wound down to match. These wheels lasted 2 weeks before 2 of them were bent and I’d not even hit any pot holes.

H&R springs, didn’t last very long as it probably would have been more comfortable if I’d replaced the springs with lumps of wood

on the V3’s here, very heavy wheels so had a negative effect on handling

Nice motors guys, thank you for the pictures, im looking to sway towards eibach, iv heard a lot of comments about the harsh ride of the H&R springs

Nice ride! Do you think the V3s are harsher on the wheels, and hence req stronger/forged rims perhaps? Do they otherwise ride smooth or they a bit crashy? Height looks perfect!
 
nothing to do with k3's, more likely rubber band 30 profile tyres and crap uk road conditions = dead wheels

audi upgrades
H&R 29061-2 springs on oem ADS shocks. Wheels are 20 x 9 ET35 TTRS rotors with Goodyear Eagle AS5 255/30 r20 tyres
