The dealer I went to first said I’m looking at a delivery date of October if I was lucky I said sod that and looked elsewhere.

I contacted my local dealer back in early August, he was on holiday at the time but contacted me via email and assured me once he was back in the office, the following Monday, he would be in touch to discuss a deal on the new RS3.
Never heard from him again.
Luckily was directed to the discount site from here (MSG) and didn't even give my local a second thought since.

If you haven't been to the Showroom or any of the Dealers Business Premises and the contract has been by phone or email under the Distance Selling Regulations your entitled to a full refund (inc Deposit) up to 14 Days after DeliveryI paid a deposit of 3k was told the colour was the issue if I decided to cancel I wouldn't get the deposit back as it would be harder for them to sellyet people are paying 10k over just to get one !
oh ok, looks like I need to get busy on the phones tomorrow asking all the dealers if they have a le they are willing to sell at a reasonable price (very unlikely) if you don't ask you will never get, funny as you would assume customer service should be priority esp with big brands, so far I think v

But that doesnt mean that the dealer put the order through on that date? when I ordered mine they said the order would be placed on the following MondayWe literally ordered a day apart lol only difference is, dealers mines a saloon and different colours yet no build week for me as of yet

Yeah they did say if I wanted a carbon edition it could be as early as Jan and Vorsprung was Mar. Thinking about it now a carbon edition would of been fine too

Think it came into force in 2015 but Dealers won't tell you and seeing some of the Post's on Forum's and Facebook reckon there were a few lost Deposits in Lockdown due to Cancelling because of uncertainty in there employment.

A BW3 will have an expected March delivery date so ready on the 22 plate which is perfect.I hope it stays at BW8, I dont really want it much earlier, anyhwere between the now BW 8 and original BW16 would be good, I'd like it for the new reg, start of Spring and when my two year fixed investmnet matures

wow.. this must be the first BW confirmation for a Vorsprung. Apparently, my dealer in West London is expecting a demo next month, still radio silence on my Vorsprung,My dealer has just emailed me at 22:30, hows that for dedication

I remember they said mine was accepted by the factory around the same time as yours, either the 6th or 7th so probably the same dayorder was accepted by factory on the the 6th as he claims, who knows
The pictures do look good in Kyalami, I think it suits the saloon better than the sport back whereas i'm not sure a Tango Red saloon would work for me on a saloon.
What a nice position to be in picking it up this week

My build has now moved back to the original forecast of BW3 week commencing 17/01.
Had an update this morning that my LE should be with me “early December”.
The first unprompted update I have received…..
