Hi all.
Drove car 20 miles today and wouldnt restart. Jumped car and drove home, had alternator checked and charging fine. No dash lights but does now say start stop not working (Its always off I never use it)
Fitted new battery and coded. Old battery showing 52% and 11.3V
Battery now showing 13.6v
Car now wont start first press of button. First press ignition comes on second press it starts.
Its like I havent got my foot on the brake.
Carista showing 2 faults that will not clear 15289 & 15293, google not helping.

You should get a proper scan - VCDS or OBDeleven. The fault codes usually generates more information than just the fault code number.
The first fault code indicates problem with starter relay.

You could try and look at Erwin site - pay for 1 hour of use and have a look.
B9's are not so comon with us DIY people yet, so not much info on the interwebs.

Did You look at the diagram, what did that fuse protect? Maybe there's a reason why the fuse blew out?

Didnt put full story. Bit long.
The fuse space has a piggyback fuse in for dash cam. (will be sorted) I absolutely hate the ****** things but couldnt get the fuse board out to fit a proper fuse connector.
The piggyback had come loose.
I did know dash cam wasnt working properly as it was in parking mode when driving. Lost switched live. (It speaks)
Didnt put 2 and 2 together at first.
Lost switched live ?? lost starting.
Put fuse back and car still started incorrectly but when turned off it reset and started fine, no triangle warning.
Removed fuse and it went back to not working so defiantly the problem.
Codes went on their own using carista didnt have to clear.
Fuse block D passenger footwell No 5 Engine start
