Been searching for a S4/S5 SB for a few months now which included the adaptive suspension and finally bought one which I'm picking up this weekend. It's got a mega spec so quite excited! It's my first petrol car for quite a few years. My last petrol car was a Nissan Silvia Spec R.

Spec includes: VC, B&O, ACC, Matrix LEDs, Driver pack tour, Adaptive suspension, sports diff, dynamic steering, carbon inlays, flat bottom wheel, rev cam, ext interior lighting, pan roof, storage pack & a few more that I can't think of

Got it in the best colour too which is the Navarra blue metallic!

Quite excited to say the least. It's my very first Audi ever and I'm hoping the driving enhancements such as the dynamic steering, adaptive suspension & sports diff has a more RWD feel rather than dealing with the infamous quattro understeer.

Anyone else own a similar spec one?

Do I need to drive the car very hard to benefit from the sports diff?

Nice spec on the car. Enjoy the car. We look forward to some pics.

Sounds similar spec to mine, same colour… except mine has 2 less doors and without carbin inlays!
I think Navarra looks great with either the chrome or blacked out bits too.

Photos attached. My first impressions of it are very impressed with the level of refinement inside. It's quieter than my 3 series.

The adaptive suspension is definitely softer than the Sport suspension even in the Sportiest mode and the general falling feels the same as my 3 series that also had adaptive suspension.

The equipment inside is also very impressive and the handling is sharp even though I've hardly even pushed it.

I really like the fact that it's a really quiet GT style cruiser when in comfort mode and then changes character in Dynamic mode.

It looks so cool especially at night!

It accelerates very smoothly and progressively but doesn't have the same adrenaline rush that I got from my Nissan Silvia S15.

Also I can definitely notice less torque coming from the 335xd which was a twin turbo so to be expected.

I'm not going to bother modifying it as I like it as it is.

Congrats on the car looks like a great spec. Did you get it from Lincoln Audi by any chance or the JCT600 group I recognise the body shop in the background :tearsofjoy:

I got it from Lincoln Audi yes They’ve been really good actually. They fitted 4 brand new tyres because the ones on the car got damaged when they were doing the MOT. Also got 1 week car insurance for free and they’ve given me the 12 month warranty on top of all that.

Just thought I'd post a quick review about my car after owning it for a while. Not had any major issues with it and the car is at 69k. A couple of arm bushes needed replacing (done one but not bothered with the other yet as car seems fine). Front brake discs, pads & fluid will be done next.

In regards to driving, I notice the weight transfer going around corners. My 3 series was definitely more agile which I miss. You couldn't feel you're driving such a heavy car but you can in this. The mid range power is blisteringly fast and seems to be the sweet spot for this car as you can really feel the torque but you very quickly get into license losing speeds. I wish it had a bit more in the low end.

I've found the best way to drive this car enthusiastically is in Dynamic mode with the gearbox set to manual (it still up shifts automatically!!). When the gearbox is in the S mode, it can't seem to make it's mind up as to what gear it wants to be in especially when on a twisty road which gets annoying!

Regarding the sports diff, I honestly can't tell when this is working and exactly what it's doing! Although I'm sure it's doing it's thing, it's very difficult to tell when it's 'working'. I guess the only way to properly tell is to drive a car without it fitted.

I still really like the car but very very tempted to switch to a G30 BMW M340i. Need to get a test drive in one at some point.
