AUdi UTR Dead after Firmware Update....

It had to happen sooner or later.
Just started updating the firmware on the UTR and it said "unit now shutting down" and that's the last thing that happened.
Does anyone know of a reset process or hard reset for the unit.
Tried a paperclip in the reset hole, holding the on/off button for uptown minute and still dead, won't even switch on :-(

Any help appreciated, cheers.
 
Was it in the car at the time & car running or ignition on only as could have turned of when power saving of car kicked in, speculative of course.

If its died during firmware update, unless its got a dual kinda bios or dual slot facility, to swap to other boot slot, its probably toast.

If from audi, take back, plead ignorance & get new one.
 
That kinda makes sense about the bios.
Interestingly enough, the LED on the rear camera is working, so looks like powering up something.
Would reload the 2 files onto sd card help possibly ??
