Anyone heard or had any experience with this pump I’m now on the home straight for a stage 2 map but just want to change the pump before as when it gets below half tank it starts to take 2 turns to start, for the price of it I’m thinking of taking the chance it says it will fit straight in.. after hearing the dw sometimes failing I’m debating giving this ago...
thanks lads

No experience with this make but I've had my Dw pump in now for 2 1/2 years and no problems.
Maybe buy a DW one from a reputable company and not a Chinese knock off.

Yeah that’s true there’s other people that have used aps and lasted a good while, just don’t want it to leave me stranded at a track day hundreds of miles away unless I leave the nackered original in the car

I’m running a DW65 in tank, it’s been faultless since I’ve had it. I don’t tend to let the cars fuel tank drop before 1/4 of a tank though. For my next power level Badger5 will be adding an 044 Bosch fuel pump, which will do majority of the work. The DW65 will then just be a lift pump so it’s life should last a bit longer.

Yeah I see a lot of people use dw65 seems 60/40 I’m just reading a lot at the min to try gain some knowledge as I feel out of my depth on how it all works, I see that you can put a 044 where the filter goes and get the fittings from badger just unsure how i would fit it ie wiring for it more research to be done...

Am running Deatschwerks DW65. Runs like a charm but like some people have said before under a 1/4 the pump starves for gas sometimes and cuts out. Other than that, no problem

Gone and got one anyway for half the price of Dw and there mixed reviews I thought it’s worth a risk atleast I can trial it for others

Let us know how you get on. Seen a few people using these and I have actually recommended them to a few people. Sytec is predominantly manufactured by Walboro who know what they are doing with fuel pumps. I have a DW65v in my 500bhp TT and it is the second one, the first lasted around 18 months if that. The in tank pumps seem OK with 400bhp or so but after that they have to work pretty hard to flow enough fuel especially if you are running 2 bar boost. I now run the DW65V as an in tank delivery pump to the 044 and like that I am sure it will last a long time.
This 440bhp turbo R32 is running that Sytec pump.

Well that sounds promising information I’m only gunna be running stage 2 so should be fine but If I went further I’d defo do what you’ve done and whack a 044 in place of the filter without a doubt, If I get any probs I’ll post back here

Coincidentally I have just changed out my dw65 as well, was installed at some point in 19 & it's been running weak for some time but unless you checked for it you wouldn't know.....on WOT pulls I was seeing injector duty cycle of 98%.

Plenty of ppl are reporting issues with dw now so you've done the right thing by not going for another one
