Recently bought one of these for a 2011 A3 to turn off a airbag light and it worked fine.

looking for some info on:

A) getting both doors to open on one fob press?
B) possibility of enabling exterior temp gauge on dash ?

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A: its in convenience/ce module 09 on 2010 cars module known as selective locking in vcds
B: its shown within the dis, so kinda pointless unless you have no dis.

I have a 2009 A5 therefore we should both have the MMI system

I have such a long list of option on my MMI including what you asking about.
In the car setup menu there is a central locking option and in that menu it has option for single door or all door.

If you don't have this on the MMI then you would need to enable the "Green" menu using the OBDeleven. I recently added the battery level on the menu but had to enable the "Green" menu 1st
OBDeleven has the option to enable the green menu and cost 10 credits which you can earn by watching adverts on the app.

Once the green menu is activated you can go in and add the options. The video gives a idea how the green menu works

Found it:
So ive had to lose the date readout just to get the temp showing.
not a big deal tbh as its not often i use the car for checking the date :chuncky:

using the OBDEleven (Voltas IT) device
for external temp sensor
Dashboard>Adaptation>Additional functions> Value 1 (display active and sensor installed)
