I haven't done anything to the beast recently and have a little spare Christmas money left so looking for some small mods to do.

Thinking maybe mirror caps hyrdo dipped or painted or wrapped.

Paddle extensions

Rs6 red stop start button

Any other ideas will be considered

Thanks

Whatever you do, don't hydro dip the mirrors with a pattern - especially carbon fibre!
It doesn't look right as the pattern distorts. Hydro dipping should be for flat surfaces only.

I am doing the stop start button tomorrow and painting the rings, just on the rings any one on have a good paint code, black satin or matt finish.
Have you CarPlay? I got the genuine Audi version upgrade, it's excellent and today I added the wireless dongle so I'm cable free now

by the time you've bought all the parts to paint, prep and mask off the car you could have bought a set and fitted them for far less money and time..

Yes I tried to get genuine black ones but couldn’t so I just got new silver ones and a friend is painting them for me. So I will just swap them over when painted.

I’m steering clear of eBay now, the ones I had for the A6 would only fit if I broke some clips off, the ones I’ve bought for the A7 don’t fit at all and currently in a dispute to get my money back!

OEM ones are £40 which is expensive but it will be quality

Parts request is top left of the forum screen... will only be oe parts though so no brembos

Thank Andy, appreciate it.
Where do I post it? I am looking for drilled brake discs and I can only find rear ones on Brembo website.

I’ve not long fitted Mtec drilled discs all round to mine and seem ok tbh, not used them in angry yet. It came down to these or zimmermans and as they had a offer on went for these.

In particular, what's on the top? Not too keen on an "RS" logo, "S" would be fin

ended up going for the RS version as it just looked cooler

took about 12 days to arrive and it fits like a glove

to add you get a new gaitor with it also which felt nicer than the original one..

Give them a ring,I did just to check which size I needed and they were very helpful

Cheers, phoned them, deal done and I will have next Tuesday. They ship from N.Ireland as well so no customs charge. I got drilled and grooved and coated black, front and back for around 228 euro delivered. Thanks for recommendation, much appreciated.

Two quick questions, any replies much appreciated

Any one paint their calipers black? The car is Daytona grey and don't fancy red and don't like the current silver/grey look. Ordered some stickers from Ebay to complete.

Also anyone remap?

I painted and stickered mine. On my previous A5 I painted them gloss black with white Audi ring stickers. But with Daytona I wanted the callipers to not get lost. I mixed black and silver Hammerite to take away the bright silver look. Also cleaned up the disk shields with steel wool. Take the spring clip off, bit of a fiddle but not too bad. I masked everything else up and painted with a brush and sponge stick (used one of my children's art kit!).

Yes to both questions mate. I had considered red for the calipers but wanted something a little more subtle. See pictures. Went with the high temp quattro stickers on mine.

Also Im running a stage 1 which gives me 379bhp and 758nm torque. Shes an animal

Thank for the replies and the pictures. I am torn now between Black (which I ordered the stickers for) but the discs are black so I am not sure if the S-line/quattro stickers are enough to break up the colour as the caliper and disc will be the same.
Sliver/grey could be a nice option to give me a contrast but the stickers I got probably won't look great. I was thinking doing the back caliper black and carrier silver or grey, would be nice on a black disc but i don't know what to do with the front caliper,

Went with all black in the end, the stickers weren't great quality and "line" in S Line didn't stick but I think they look good. Just before clear coats. Disc and pads being changed so didn't need much masking, only the wheel spacers and thinking back I should have painted them as well.

Side Skirts & Splitter are relatively easy, cheap mods that make a big impact!

I rebadged except the Quattro, and changed the rings to a black one listed for an S3 about 10mm smaller than original.
