I brought my Facelift S3 from Wolverhampton Audi, as Stoke Audi which is closest to me gave me a crap deal at the time. How do you get 'Facelift' in your posts??
That not far from me.I'm not too far away - I use Audi Stafford and am in ST4

I've tried "Hey BMW, My a*s is cold" and it turn on my heated seat.
It's a great car mate, looks of a car are always subjective and I agree the BMW idrive is top notch. Look forward to a review when you have put a few more miles on it. Have you tried the voice command "hey BMW, I'm cold" it will turn the heating up. I also said "hey BMW I'm bored" and it suggested using sport mode,,,,,, class.
I had a similar experience at Stoke Audi, went to look at the new S3 the 'sales executive' took me and my wife out in the pouring rain taking an umbrella for himself and showed us a poverty spec. 1.4 XXXX and said the new S3 would be similar did we want to place an order???? when we said thanks but no thanks and went and got our own 2.0l quattro sport, it seemed like he proceeded to take the 1.4 XXX for a test drive, no doubt booking the time to us? we have never heard any more.
I also had a really bad experience at Audi Macclesfield - but that's another story. far to long to write here, but if you want to hear it message me.
My conclusion was that all the Audi 'sales executives' have been given a bye on their targets for this year due to covid and just could not give a @$$$***&&& S XXXXX' about selling cars, and if you don't want their finance, you can go ............... yourself.
I have also had poor experiences with buying accessories, like mats etc. Audi main dealers seem to have lost the plot.
VAG apr at the moment is a joke. Hopefully in the new year it will go down who knows??
If they don't then pcp's and lease would be less attractive compared to rivals like BMW and others. Combined with the way the world is at the moment with the 'sniffle' bug making peoples finance stretched I would've thought they would be forced to?? It's only an observation mind you and not based on hard facts lol
At the moment it's a buyers market. Certainly won't be pushed into a high APR pcp.I saw a new shape S3 saloon for sale the other day, looked at their figures being advertised and it worked out at £136 interest per month for 49 months = £6,664!!! It was 6.1%APR and zero deposit contribution. No DC you may as well get a personal loan at 3%.
No not at all, just going to keep this one now and when I change pay the difference. At the moment it's a buyers market. Certainly won't be pushed into a high APR pcp.
Hi,
After years of VW and Audi’s (Golf GTi, A3, A5 and 3 years with my beloved S3) it time to move on.
Picked up my new BMW M235i XDrive Gran Coupe in Storm Bay yesterday.
Yes I know what people have been saying about this car, but For me it ticked every box.
I did look at the new S3 saloon as I really wanted stay with Audi brand, but While I like the design on the outside. The interior was not for me especially the dash design. The only thing I liked about the interior was the seats. While there nothing wrong with Audi’s MMI system, I think it still lags behind BMW’s iDrive and Mercedes. For me Audi have taken I step back with the new A3.
I hope to return to Audi brand in the future but for now it’s Goodbye and Stay Safe all!

Hi, Great looking car. I am also looking at the M235i gran coupe to replace my S3 saloon as having driven the new S3, I was left underwhelmed and shocked by the downgrade in interior quality. How do you spec the black mirrors, front grill and front canards as the one thing I don’t like is the Cerium Grey grill, mirrors or front canards. Also what’s the ride like on 19’s without adaptive damping.Hi,

Thanks for the info, good to hear the ride is not as firm as the S3 Saloon with mag ride.Gloss black front grill can be retro fitted by the dealer as can the door mirror covers as for the Cerium grey canards the would need to be re-painted by dealer,my son has the M135i on 19s and the ride comfort is good not as firm as the S3 Saloon with mag ride

What are (if any) his thought's on the new 128ti? Some reviews say save the money over the M135i as it's more fun to drive!Like this it also has a high gloss black front splitter

There is a tread on this car over on the Golf GTI forum. Seems to be quite a few people interested for similar reasons to here - they prefer the BMW interior over the new Golf interior. On paper the new 228i has slightly more power. Also, has a similar spec and price. What are (if any) his thought's on the new 128ti? The inside does look good, this is standard! I think Audi/VW are going to lose a lot of customers in the next year or two. There is a tread on this car over on the Golf GTI forum. Was speaking to the BMW dealer about my wife's M218i. It arrived last week. They are getting it ready for delivery this week. I was surprised how fast it arrived. It will be 8 or 9 weeks from order to delivery. I'm used to waiting much longer for delivery. Mk6 GTD was 9 months, Mk7.5 GTI 5 months, her A3 was 3 months. Dealer told me that the car has proven so popular that BMW have increased production. (Or did they just modify an order 'going to production'.) What ever the reason - top marks BMW.
We might have to delay delivery for a week. Our road is like a skating rink. I'm buying 4x Goodyear Vector 4 Season Gen 3 tyres for the BMW. The tyres that come off will fit the GTI as my summer tyre.
very nice!My wife said, right from the beginning that the interior was most important, as that's what she spends most of her time looking at. She has a point.
There will be blue stitching in my wife's car.

*Standard on a 128ti" not all models BMW's leather is a huge issue with myself...and best avoided as the standard cloth seats look far better in my opinion as does the 1 series over the 4 door 2 series. The inside does look good, this is standard! From experience the interior is very good inside (had a loaner for a day or two when X3 was in for repairs). Obviously you have to spec the odd thing but as for quality it is top notch. The inside does look good, this is standard! I think Audi/VW are going to lose a lot of customers in the next year or two.

When the M135i first came out I saw two in the dealership, one with leather and one with the normal blue type cloth seats, I must admit I preferred the look of the cloth.*Standard on a 128ti" not all models BMW's leather is a huge issue with myself...and best avoided as the standard cloth seats look far better in my opinion as does the 1 series over the 4 door 2 series.
l do like the dashboard layout in the 1/2 series if any criticism had to be thrown at it...it would be its a tad conservatively styled

Yup they are very classy looking for being covered in Microfiber BMW will steal £1000 off ya for their dreadful Dakota leather optionWhen the M135i first came out I saw two in the dealership, one with leather and one with the normal blue type cloth seats, I must admit I preferred the look of the cloth.
