Hi having owned 8p for over 4 years now moved to the 8V 21,000 on clock So far happy just a couple of things on motorway doing 80mph couldn't get it past that on a slight incline on flat it picked up. This has audi drive select still getting round it. My 8P was a beast 140 2.0 TDI it was mapped 50/50 had 100.000 on clock I know I can't compare the 2 but surely this 8V should perform better anyone like to scan for me if there is an issue can go back to Audi. Also sometimes its lazy starting turn key glow plug goes out turn key pause few secs then it starts. Mentioned this to Audi they said it's normal for a diesel to take upto 10 secs to start. Leave that one with you I know how long it should take.

It wouldn't get above 80mph? Did I read that right?

Just as well it can't go above 80mph given the 70mph speed limit. Ticket saved

What engine is in it?

should defo get above 80! My works van gets up to 80

yeah the diesels do take a couple of seconds to start when cold, just the glow plugs doing their thing. Think it’s a safety thing. Older diesels just turn the key and let it crank whereas the newer ones are more intelligent and make you wait until sufficiently heated up
