DIY: Changing/Conversion HID D3S Bulbs on Audi A3 2010 w/ DRL Bi-Xenon Headlamps

Higher K less light output, these bulbs won't match the DRLs tbh, stick is 4300 & the jump to 5 isnt enough to match & tbh if you want to see the road at all, stop at 5k.

Tbh these bulbs aren't really produced to create blue, white effect, its more road vision they're really trying to sell as, even if they almost always never match there advertising lol.

I bought some cbi's few years back, were they cool, blue & intense, like fxxk were they, yellow & no difference to stock.
Damn, now you have me rethinking if i should really spend money on Osram CBI. Its either them or Nightbreakers.
Got any suggestion for fogs to match CBI and/or Nighbreakers?

Just want to say thanks to the OP and resurrect this thread in case anyone else was thinking of changing the xenon's.

Did mine today and the instructions were spot on. Managed no problem without removing the bumper. I have quite small hands so could get in ok. Hardest bit was turning the bulbs but I used a pipe wrench with tape on to get past the initial click. Right hand one was more difficult as the bulb is less central in the hole. 1 hour 45 to do but just noticed now that I didn't actually need to remove the lower plastic wheel well bit. DOH!

Replaced them with Osram nighbreakers. Still daylight so will see how they are later. Old ones were also Osram and looked mint so I hope I didn't waste my time
