Anyone ordered a new S3 yet?

*** £62,313 for an S3, loved the dramatic music and choreography but £62k for an S3 :scared2::scared2:
That particular car is in/from a Dutch dealership where all cars are heavily taxed hence the extortionate price

Sitting too high?????

That is a great video and easily the best images so far of the S3 :icon thumright:

Car looks really good (mono pur stitching aside which is nasty).

It does look a tad high, maybe the blocks are still in ?

but overall looks good

The ride height does look a little high off the tires, but a UK version of this car in showrooms is a long way off

TBF I had a go in the facelift and quite liked it BUT having breaking my back x 2 in the past 19 years has made it comical getting out of a car that type :sadlike::sadlike:, if it wasn't for that I probably would have had one.
Edit: excuse my typing as I have had a few red wines :stupid:
Did you get compo after breaking your back twice? I would've thought the porno industry would have you covered...Jumping from bedroom wardrobes is dangerous :sex:lol

Does look pretty good
To be fair love the exterior and the seats. Not a massive fan of angular dash, but definitely much better overall in this spec.

That's a great looking car. I love the detail on the contrasting stitching. If money wasn't an issue I would happily spec that car even the colour. Goes well with the carbon pack and the pano roof.:thumbs up:

Not a fan of Carbon especially when its mixed in with gloss black trim/emblems besides Audi probably charge around £2k for them door mirror covers and rear spoiler

The dash is a massive style feature and not one I could ignore. The 8V was a lot more subtle and

Again Audi only supply the unofficially named Launch Edition every car l have seen in the media has the same options which tells me Audi don't have a lot stock for the UK at the moment

Ok 24 minutes is far too long to hold my attention for a youtube video... but yes the Sportback is probably better then the M135i.
Which in turn begs the question, how much more is the S3 Saloon better...because we all the know the Saloon model is always superior. :innocent:

By the way I've had a few shandies so you will not be surprised many times I have had to edit this post even before posting it! :frowning:
I need to stop drunking.

According to that video the saloon is only £500 more expensive than the sportback, that would make the cost difference considerably less than the 8V variants.

Joe Achilles does begin to get a little boring quickly l don't like the hatch its not ugly at all but....lacks a bit class, like l have always maintained a S3 needs a lot of boxes ticked for it to look the part even more so in the 8y and Turbo blue doesn't suit the design and them alloys look cheap, not a fan of any alloy design to date typical of Audi + A3

Well actually in real world terms the 8y saloon is £2300 more expensive than the outgoing 8v S3
No magnetic dampers No 19s as standard

I like Joe Achilles reviews and he is one of the few I would listen to, however I have to take these YouTubers review with a pinch of salt. At the end of the day they rely completely on manufacturers to lend them cars to do these reviews, so I have to take the view that they are biased from the start.

Ouch, you must have a dangerous hobby.
I did, loved the big bikes but knocked off my R6 in 2001, then I binned my Fireblade in 2006. Had a few since then and my last steed was a MV Brutale 1090RR.

Some nice bikes there. Motorcycles and horses are not good for the bones, my Mrs has had some nasty falls off of nags.

You are not wrong, TBF I don't mind going on a superbike at full chat but you wont get me on one of the horses. All horse riders are braver than me.

Seems to me Audi really didnt want to invest a lot money in the 8y .......they are seemingly so wrapped up in EV cars now...most just slightly better looking than a Musk.....same engine, same gearbox, generic tech.....half ***** attempt ......really why keep the aging engine.......?????

8V Kudos wont diminish mate but the 8y saloon wont have the same Kudos both introduced at the same....same panels almost same track same everything barring the boot money saving.....

I think that’s what has happened mate, same for VW. The likes of BMW are still developing on both fronts and their new designs are growing on me each time I see one on the flesh.

I really like the latest Volvos as well.

I’m on the look out for a new car, must be 4WD, really don’t know where to go now.
