I'm trying to find where it's located but can't find any information. Is it in the trunk? Dont want to start tear things apart and then realize i'm at the wrong position.
When going into reverse all i hear is a long beep from the back for a few secounds then quiet.

Hey bud it’s in the boot behind the right hand side trim as you look at it. It’s fitted on a large black L shaped bracket that also holds the comfort ecu (depending on age)

Just pop the middle trim that the catch goes through off and then pop the right hand side trim off or move it enough for access and you’ll see it.

thanks alot for the information. Will look into it :)

New module needed generally with rom error, as Neil says about location.

Throwing out another question and hopefully someone can answer.

I'm trying to find the right module, part number: 8P0 919 475 F but all i can find is 8P0919475 without any letter in the end or with M or something else.
Not success in finding 8P0919475F but my question is then:
Do i need the exact number? Wouldn't a 8P0919475M work? I've been searching everywhere but can't really find a 100% answer, some say it will, others not.

Thanks in advance.

You can use either of the above:
8P0919475F
8P0919475M
8P0919475G

All three support "Model data: PR-7X1" which is the version that you have. Only rear parking sensors.
Check this link.

Oh okey, thanks for answering. Really helpful since i'm new to this.
Last question i think: If i chose another part like 8P0919475M do i have to re-code or do anything in VCDS?

If you can read the coding of the original module, then you should code it to the new one.
But again you don't need the original since you can code the new one step by step with vcds.
I didn't have any parking sensors from factory, so when I installed the Park Assist module which was used, I then changed the coding in varius settings (manual/automatic transmittion, enable/disable OPS for the RNS-E, and such).

That last part seems a bit out of my league but hopefully i can read the coding and then just switch modules. Thanks again.

You don’t need to bud your code is 000003 it’s in the fault log you originally posted.
