Hey
Has anyone installed those red S3 or RS3 red fan blades?

I have just received them and they get good reviews, but for the life of me dont know how to fit them?

Is it easy, and how do you do it?

Thanks all

Previous owner fitted mine

I really like them with my luna grey leather it really brightens the interior up

My cars red too

Very easy job.
I did it (painting included) on my S3 and RS3 (pre-painted).

@Djpfrozenp Thanks so much mate, really appreciate it.

Looks a lot more than I thought, but straight forward.

I will take one out now and do one at a time and ensure I take my time. It looks fiddly thats for sure.

Thanks again

Looks and sounds harder that it actually is.
Once you done the first you’ll do the second in half the time.

Ok problem already.
Mine has nothing to remove the final unit, it looks sealed and different to the one in the picture.
See what mine looks like.

Never mind, just used my led torch, god they are tiny, I dont think I have something so small and thin to get those points out.
The drama continues.
First 1 will be a pain, but the rest will probably be easy

Nope, nothing is budging.
You cannot remove the centre stick it's a one piece unit, the other person's looks like you can take it out, but mine won't.

Flippin heck had to really pull that second part on the solid points, thought I was going to break it.
Second part done.

Looks good, dead easy to do once you know how, took me about 45 minutes the first time but when I did my brothers and dads car it was 10 minute job :tearsofjoy:

TYPICAL The last blade was faulty and came from china. They better not tell me to take them all out and return them to china.
Its a ebay purchase so I was extra nice with my email to the company and I hope they will just send me another couple blades.
I just put in my old black one for now.
You can see it was built without a leg, seems they ran out of plastic LOL

Yeah it took me about 45 min to start and the rest were about 1o minutes each, you just need to be confident.

My fingers are killing me from pulling those vents out, I need to get some trim tools.
Always fun doing things yourself.
If you are going to do it, make sure they all have the plastic pegs LOL

I cant believe the very last blade I put in was faulty, what are the chances.

Always the way with it being the last one

Trim tools I've got a few you can get really cheap ones on ebay but they are bendy and cheap or pay a little more and get some that a rigid they help alot more when prying tight clips out
