I have some stone chips on the bonnet that I want to attend to. I have been looking at the kits from chipex but I'm just wondering if there are any other good alternatives out there?

The car is sepang blue in colour.

Cheers.

Crewe Audi parts on here can provide a genuine Audi touch up kit, comes with paint and the clear coat - just over £15 delivered I think.

I’ve used chipex before it was ok but didn’t seem to last very long, followed the all the instructions but it washed away after a few months.

That's interesting about the chipex paint. I would really like a good colour match but it's hard to know what kits are the best to provide that.

I didnt know Audi did touch up kits.
I am in the same boat.
There are some good suppliers on ebay, but for £15.00, you cant beat that.

Dr.colourchip looks similar to chipex. A bit dearer than £15 though

Just bought a Ara blue touch up stick from Oxford Audi. Seems to be fine, you’ll never hide the chips properly. These cars seem to attract them too.

Every colour batch is going to be slightly different. You can go to a paint specialist and have them mix up a small quantity of paint that will be perfect.
The specialist will have every batch (there could be more than a dozen) that Audi has made. You can pick which batch matches your car from the samples that Audi provides. I have bought paint pens in the past and I have never had a perfect match.

I have ordered the genuine audi paint so I will see how that goes first. Hopefully it will be a close match .... fingers crossed.
