Last week I came back to my car parked on a slight hill where the car in front was resting against my front bumper (car facing up the hill), which has caused the fog light surround to pop out on one side. I've tried to push it back in but it just pops back out and I don't want to push it too hard incase its not supposed to be pushed in from the front. I waited around for the other driver, but after 40 minutes I figured they weren't going to return anytime soon.

Yeah bud you can pop it in from the front but it's stiff.

I got my whole frontend off to got mine in properly (all clips) but you should be able to push it in from the front for sure.

Cheers, its the side nearer to the number plate. When I push it in I hear abit of a slight click, but it doesn't catch at all, just pops straight back out, pushing it harder feels like it might break the clips, but then again the clips could possibly be broken?

Would that surround popping out affect an MOT? I got a few days to get one.

I'm going to try pushing it in again when I finish work but try an harder longer push. Does anyone know the part number if I need to get a new one?

Give everything a good clean in the area and lubricate the clips with silicone lubricant of some type to let the them slip nicely into place.
