If a Porsche was that good I’m sure you’d have kept it, says plenty for the TTRS in my book.

For me the interior of the TT is miles ahead of the 991.2 Porsche. 5cyl engine also much nicer. Porsche wins on handling and looks.
The new 992 has a vastly improved interior, though...but is £100k!

TTRS is just a bargain IMO. I paid £38k for a 10k miles 18 plate from main dealer. I prefer the all round looks of the RS3 (but TT has a meaner front end!) but when you consider the TT is the same price secondhand as an RS3, if you don’t need rear seats it’s a no brainer to me.

I was 99% sure you were going to make that comment! ;)

This is true, but I suppose the point I’m making is that I’d be inclined to pool both lots of money together and buy one really awesome car. Maybe even an M5, eh John? @terminator x
Just over here whistling ;)

We would’ve had the TTRS but for us it’s not practical enough.

Today i put a deposit down on a ara blue rs3 saloon. This one has a much better spec than my pfl.

I was tempted to get a fl nardo sportback but i couldnt justify to myself the extra money with it looking very similar to my old car!

Picked up this yesterday and had a long drive home to get used to it.

First thoughts are -

The ride is much more comfortable and feels alot more capable on the road than my pfl.

Love all the tech, its miles ahead of the pfl
Feels alittle bit quicker than pfl, i wasnt expecting the exhaust to sound great compared to the pfl from what ive read on here but tbh its just abit quieter the engine still sounds amazing and now with the pan roof i can hear it from all around!

Overall very pleased with the car, already booked in for ceramic coating and then off for a remap

So today i went to mrc for stage 1

Ended up with 491 and 677nm very happy with the results, pulls much harder now.
Loving the extra torque and extra pops/crackles that was missing from the fl
