im trying to lift the intake cam out along with the tensioner but the intake cam seal is my nemesis at the moment, is there a way to remove it without damaging the seal ? do i need to leverage something under that side of the cam to get it out ?

Just lift it out with the seal on it shouldn't be a problem I did sits back fine in position afterwards

Just give it a tap with a rubber mallet that's what I did from underneath

If it is possible you could put a new cam seal on if the old one is past its sell-by date and not too long wait time?
