Hi all, I hope you can help, I’ve recently bought a 2012 TT and the SD card I used for my 2012 A4 to play music wont work and just displays the message corrupt file, I’ve tried reformatting to FAT32 but still won’t work and displays the same message. Audi says I need to spend over £200 on a coded card for my car, is this true?? Thanks for any help.

MK2 TT I'm assuming you've got a MK2 rns-e, which card type & size do you have?
Sdhc upto 32gb can be used, as for coded to the car, that's rubbish if it's the spec above.

Yes I have the MK2 TT, I’ve been using a PNY micro sd with a PNY adapter that is 64GB, it work fine in my old Audi A4
If you're formatting correctly & adding MP3 files & still not working, then buy an actual sdhc card as it could be due to the type & using the adapter.
What you could do is have wireless auxin fitted & use your phone to save messing with cards & files.
