Hi,
l wanted to disable the OBD port on my 2015 S4 Avant and pulled the two fuses that folks indicate in the front, passengers side fuse panel. Did this and on switching on the ignition l got a 'start/stop function' fault and had no aircon, the display being completely blank.

Any ideas as to why my situation appears to be different?
I replaced both fuses and everything is back as normal.

Any thoughts/help much appreciated.

I assume you have checked the fuses you pulled against the description in the owners manual?

Depending on the region the fuse “blocks” can be in the opposite order. Pay attention to the colours of the blocks as well as the numbers. Mine is backwards compared to the manual!

Thanks, I'll check this tomorrow.

This does look about right. In the LHS fuse box not the RHS.

Yes, the LHS (passengers front door) fuse box, is what I'm talking about. Haven't yet had time to check your suggestion though.

Fit a kill switch inline of the port, instead of messing with fuses, that way only the odb port is affected.
