Hi. I’m looking to lower my 2015 s3 saloon a bit. I’ve been trying to decide whether to go for the eibach pro or sport line kit.

In reality though, the rear is fine, it’s just the front that needs lowered 20mm. It was the same with my s3 8p and I bought Eibach pro front springs and that looks perfect.

has anyone just lowered the front of their s3? And is there any issues to look out for as regards Magride etc.

Thanks

Just doing one axle could cause instability with handling. Don't think insurance would be happy either.

It's gonna look like a car from Wacky Races!

The gap is real

Ah I see what you are saying. Yes it probably is the arch gap. But I would like to reduce said gap

Personally, I think doing what you are planning is going to ruin the car. It was designed the way it was. Granted occasionally for RWD cars we would run slightly lower front ends to give better traction for the holeshot, but 20mm is pretty huge to do.

I am sure some lowering kits offer a slightly bigger front drop to 'balance' the car rather than being nose dive, but it sounds like you want a nose drive effect, which it will be, even though your arch clearance will look similar.

The lowering kits mentioned lower more at the front to level the car out, I have sportlines Eibach and the front lowered by about 20-25mm and the rear more like 5-10mm its perfect now.

This way, all the springs keep the same weighting.

I have Eibach sportline springs,
This is a before and after.

The top one is much nicer. Which one is that? The Eibach ones?

The top one is stock. It now has the same gap over the wheel front and back.
