Boosting Problem

Despite having installed a MBC, and open to full boost, the car cant hold boost more than 1.5 Bar. I know there is no leak because its holding boost. Can it be the DV?? Im thinking of changing the spring to a stronger one, will that help??

have you checked the wastegate and actuator , a leaky wastegate or problematic actuator can cause issues with holding boost pressure.

Indeed Rob, it seems to the actuator. Did some adjustments and it started boosting fine but it seems I lost my gearbox!!!
