Facelift Took the S3 out on track.... nearly didn't go well...

So! Took the S3 out on the track visiting the Forge Action Day last Sunday.. first time on a track so go easy on me! very nearly crashed...... What a rush though!!!

Can you give us the time stamp for the near miss. Dont fancy sitting through 30mins. Just want the juicy bit :welcoming:

Who ever wonders that needs their head testing! of course accidents will happen... track full of cars going full chat!

No need to get bigger brakes..Just get a set of EBC Yellostuff grade pads..My brother swears by them on his track days...Just don't use them on the road unless they are warmed up. lol

Yes! Was at the Forge Action day - about 12 cars bit the dust on the day.. sadly a clean example of an Impreza Type R made a school boy error of braking on the crest of the straight before the corner... lost the rear and wrote the car off in to the side wall, was painful to watch!

I'll be at 530bhp in a few weeks - bigger brakes will definitely be needed! interesting to know though

You'll remember from the safety briefing, the most accidents as a "track" UK wide!

If only we listened a little more intently.. ha! I was actually trying to hold back a little, but soon as that happened I came off
