Paddleshift question (3.0Tdi s-line)

Guessing you mean when the box is in D or S and you use the paddles to go into manual? If that's the case the car will eventually go back to 'auto' on it's own but with mine the time it takes seems to vary depending on driving style, if the throttle input stays pretty constant it'll go back quicker but, like you, I often just shift the selector across and back.

The SQ5's is pretty good, you just tap the selector down (it's spring loaded) to go back to last mode - something I stumbled over by chance.
