Morning all!
Last week my family and I were left stranded whilst on holiday (in the UK luckily) in my 5-month old S3 that has covered only 1,400 miles from new. The car was behaving normally, then in a traffic jam was stop/starting over and over as expected... until the next minute when it didn't start back up again!
Long story short - the AA came out and diagnosed a faulty starter motor, car was taken back to Audi Nottingham and fixed, and I now have the car back.
My question simply is, should there be any cause for concern on my part for the future? The dealer just told me it was an unfortunate failure and it shouldn't happen again (they've replaced the starter motor). Can somebody who is a little more mechanically minded than I, confirm that it's unlikely to be related to anything else?
Thanks
