Facelift Auto trunk opener - sportback

Yes, it is easier to take the key out and press the button but I found it odd looking.
Imho it is easier and more oem looking with boot release button.

@KrisKrk how are your experiences? What springs did you use? And how does the pop work in cold winter times?

About wanting to open the boot while sitting in the A3: can't you press the middle button on the remote? It works if you turn the engine off/unlock the doors....
Wasn't much different in the winter.
Not that I have noticed anything

I must admit I did like the B8 a4 boot release button on the door card, much better than getting the keys out and pushing the buttons, or getting the hands dirty from the boot handle.

In the drivera door card pocket.
Pointed on the attached picture. Excause the messy door carsas actually was cleaning it. Only picture of the door card found.
That is a regular boot release place for them.
Thought to ha e it underneath the mmi screen, where the parking assist button is but it is unecceseadily accessible to passengers.

Still need to see if it'll fit there as there is a speaker ring right behind.
Button isn't deep but it should fit in nicely there.
