I think it looks nice but I'm in no rush to change especially seeing the power is only up by 10 hp
the strange one is the 0-60 is down to 4.8 from 4.6/7 I know its nothing in the real world but new sport models should be about progression
and there isn't any in the performance department sadly

Yeah think I’ll struggle when it comes to replacing my current FL S3. There’s not much about for similar money that offers the same tech, performance & quality etc.

Alternatives are starting to jump in price massively and in this case I wouldn’t be able to justify the extra cash to upgrade. To be honest it’s made me consider a nice 67 plate RS3 a bit more if I were to change :tearsofjoy: obviously not brand new but it’d be cheaper than the new S3 and should hold it’s value well too.

I think it looks ok, but I absolutley hate the fact there is exposed metal work around the inside of the door frames - what are they thinking!!!

I think the pre gpf Rs3's will hold there money really well over time and the sound alone is worth the upgrade

I think it is lack of a performance upgrade over the current model that is the problem Pete .
Looks wise I like it

Not sure about the new S3. Not a fan so far, black exhaust pipes just make them blend in and those wheels are horrible. Also still hate all the weird tacky plastic vent things. Makes the current S3 look like it should be the new one getting released.

Yeah I agree the new S3 exterior looks pretty good . I'am interested to see if they have done anything with the exhaust sound
as the gpf S3's don't sound great .

I think the new Rs3 will look great mate just hope they give it more than a 10 hp bump like they have done with the S3

Only time will tell
Hate it or love it will sell regardless it’s a premium brand and snobbery will prevail
Price will be its biggest factor for us poor people especially the vorsprung
I’m thinking a 1 will be £50k upward going on the a3 vorsprung is 40k+
The rs depending on what they launch will be 55-65k
Hope I’m wrong though thats rs 4 territory at 65k and I’d sooner have a lesser model rs 4
I think
I’m gonna top out at 60k anymore and I won’t be bothering

Should find the answers fairly soon, as apparently on the configurator later this week, but gather they mean Germany, unless it is on there already...haven’t looked.

I wont buy a Merc......sometimes l think maybeez a Beemer....then l come to my senses....nothing wrong with either of them to be honest apart from being Hatchbacks....Can't afford the Porsche 718 that l would dearly love to have,, but of course l could if l went out of my financial comfort zone but that wont happen so......i'll most likely order a Saloon come the end of the year without the Donald Duck bootlid spoiler

I’m glad I’m not the only one who hates that! It really annoyed me on my Golf GTI. C’mon Audi..

Dont succumb to Forum talk mate you buy what you feel makes you happy....you'll get a corker of a car with that budget...so the wait begins.....The new RS3.....WILL BE HERE this time next year

Probably down to having to save money..I hate to think how much their lawyer bill is at the moment on top of the fines that are being placed all over the world...Ouch!:concern:

I hope so will get bored of the oil burner pretty quick in the interim
Should I have just kept the e46 M3 a little longer
Bit of a come down in power to 2l diesel but come the rs 3 time the power hike will be more noticeable from a diesel to an rs3
As opposed To the m3 to an rs3

The M135i has a nicer interior, but the saloon version actually looks very nice. Overall I'm still heading towards the BMW, test driving the M135i on Saturday, so should know by then.
