Hi.
I’ve just upgraded from an 8p to an 8v S3 but I’m having trouble carrying out a couple of mods which I had done to the 8p. In VCDS under adaptation, it has changed to a drop down menu.

I carried out these mods on my 8p but can figure out how to do them on my 8v and it’s driving me mad!!

mod 1. I want my dash clocks to be illuminated all the time as at the minute they change with the outside light.

mod 2. I would like my rear lights and number plate lights to be on all the time with the DRL’s

if someone could help me out that would be amazing. Thanks

1) cannot be done as far as I am aware. Need to install auto lights and wipers for illumination continuity.

2)

Man. I love you. Thanks so much

I’ve also already ordered up an auto light switch

VCDS says I have a humidity sensor. Do I need a light sensor too ?

You will need to order up a Rain Light and Humidity Sensor to replace your existing Humidity sensor. Everything will need coding up. Don’t forget to order a 32mm gel pad also!
