Haha yeah I did that after I took the picture it was the temp sensor look very tight for getting the plug on it

...another reason I used the 70mm lol

Build order my friend.... in all my years of modding cars, build order is key... you will have to fit stuff and plug stuff in based on an order... so wiring loom then tb... in this case

Yeah it’s a learning curve for sure will take the tb off and have to start getting my head into the wiring side,

I think I flipped master cylinder seal when filling my brakes had one of them bleeding kits that you attach to a tyre or pump and use the air pressure to push through the brake fluid. Loads of fluid pulled out of each caliper and slave cylinder but pedal doesn’t get harder at all are there service kits for them or is it a new one needed

Hey TJ post up some more pics, liking the colour theme you’ve got going on

I’m looking at a private plate and it’s down to s321vrt ( s3.2 1 vrt). Or s30mgu ( s3 omg u) Not sure I think the s321vrt plate just makes the car look older what you think ?

Does it matter if the plate makes it look older. Personally I think not. If yoh like it then get it my bro. I was gonna go for s333 yah but didn't get there in time

yeah, i dunno either mate, both sorta work. the wife grabbed me s300ddj as ddj are my initials but the ****** dvla have had my request for a logbook since pre may as the previous owner prob didnt sent off his bit.

any reg's there with s332 vr-?

No for some reason you can only get certain number after the 1st letter can’t get 32 can get 3,30,300,321

there’s s3o my-

So with how things are at the minute I can’t bring my self to spend £1400 on a manifold, I really want to just for the look of it but it’s something I might revisit in the future for a twin scroll. After speaking to a few who build vrt’s have been told the manifold I have is fine for around 600 but I’m Changing it anyway to the Cts manifold it’s got a bigger wastegate opening and bigger opening for the turbo so should flow a bit better and is on its way from the states now

got some 1000cc injectors with spark plugs ordered , with a gfb fxs fpr to fit in the Cts billet housing and Cts fuel rail
Now just on the hunt for a cat back exhaust if anyone knows of any

Would a inline fuel pump be needed aswell as a dw65v at over 500bhp?

parked the van in city centre on Monday and came back to this, crafty ***** drilled the door and pulled the cable where the handle is for inside the van, took everything that I didn’t have on site, it’s a company van and contents not covered so I’m down 2k which has come out of the car fund
On the plus side my blue haldex arrived today and a haldex service kit and 3l of g12 just waiting on some distilled water, hope you weathers good I can get some work done on it this week I don’t like the fact the engines been sat empty for so long so want to try n get fluids in it soon

Had the same thing you need deadlocks for defo, where did you get the blue haldex from ?

Yeah dead locks fitted now since it’s happen I notice loads off vans that have a metal plate welded on to stop it happening,
I got it off a r32 breaker on facebook

I paid 500 but they seem to go for anywhere between £500 and £600 I’m hopefully buying the hpa touchscreen aswell this weekend

I’ve seen that does it let you choose how much power you can send to the front or rear

Anyone using the aem 380lph inline pump? I’ve ordered dw65v for the intank and I’m thinking of fitting a fuel filter where the carbon canister is when I remove it or screw-in one into the inlet on the fuel rail anyone used these filters?

I used an Ibiza OE filter for years... supported my 620hp ... I now use what is essentially called a Bosch Motorsport filter but in reality is just a Bosch filter that takes fittings...

Have you not read any of my thread? LOL

Bosch part number is 0450905021... should be about 12 quid for the filter but Torques do a kit with the fittings as it uses M14x1.5 and M12x1.5 fittings allowing you to use -6AN fuel line

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bosch-04...Performance-Fuel-Filter-8-Micron/381571013429

or just the filter...

Cheers that a bit cheaper, I have but I couldn’t find it There’s so much good info in there I get distracted,
Speaking of which the wind has blew the car cover off and the paint peeling of the b pillars caught my eye, so I have ordered these and if they are good quality il be order the door blades to match

Glad to see you have the priorities straight LOL ;)

They are nice tbh... I have a set of decent blades waiting in the wings for when I eventually get my body work sorted but those carbon ones do look nice... although I would prob end up just painting them the OE colour anyway lol

in I know I’m all over the place but engine bits will always be available, and luckily I have got pretty much all the external trims new in A cupboard before some became unavailable ,waiting to go on when paints up to scratch, plus now I have them now no more distractions

It would ,and it’s something I don’t want to find out , it’s mainly a todo list but will need to keep it for insurance to declare the mods and get a agreed valuation,
just been looking into registering the 3.2 swap with dvla on the log book it says I need a letter from the garage that carried out the work so will have to call them Tomorrow

Looking at gearbox upgrade, will be buying another’s drp gearbox so I have a spare and doing 4th gear support and steel Forks, but is it worth fitting the tfi gears?

Ah ok... have a chat with Martin Emmett (Gas n Gears) about doing the work although I guess it could be pricey on delivery etc...

Isn't it just the final drive they change?
