How did you do it? I own both 1.5 TFSI (35TFSI) and the obdeleven. Could you point out where to look please?

Here’s a screen shot where I got it from

What is the throttle response mod and what does it do ? Does it make the accelerator pedal more loose when you press it ?

I need to change mine back to default to see if I notice the difference, had it on the direct so long.

Let me know your findings as u had it so long u are in a great position to notice the differences or if it’s just placebo

Run my S3 with this on for a year or so

1) it isn’t placebo, have swapped it back and forth
2) on the S Tronic box it can make smoother driving at low speeds problematic in anything other comfort mode
3) it uses a bit more fuel
4) it’s much nicer to drive at pace

That’s good to know, the 1.5 can be slightly jerky at lower speeds so I’ll see how I get on with it,but yesterday it felt quick but I was driving a bit spirited shall we say

I presume that all this is doing is changing the relationship between pedal position and throttle opening so that your foot has to push down less for a given throttle opening? I used to do this when I was a kid, tightening the slack out of the accelerator cable so that the lightest touch would make the engine race! Felt much faster until you overcame the muscle memory and adapted to the new limits. :p

I done it earlier today too :) I could feel some difference during a short city driving. It wasn't jerky at lower speeds despite my 1.5 TFSI engine with the s-tronic. I tried both on Auto and Comfort. I'll see how it's gonna work tomorrow on a longer journey to work and back.

After taking my car out today I can definitely feel it. Keep us updated

Not really

The standard pedal map is non linear. It takes into account how long your foot is in a Position for and how fast you step on the gas. It irons out jerks but feels nothing like a traditional cable driven throttle. My one gripe with the car.

The other setting is linear in nature and closer to a normal cable throttle as opposed to drive by wire. It doesn’t iron out small changes. Much nicer

I did it and I wrote I felt difference. Well, that could be placebo. I checked out in EBDeleven and found out that the change of the setting was not saved. I tried again without any luck. I choose "direct" from the drop-down menu, press and hold the confirmation button and it looks like it is saved, but when I leave this screen and then come back, the setting is changed to "incremental" again. So I guess I didn't even try the linear/direct mode. Did anyone experience the same issue?

I can see this is possible with carista. anyone tried it with carista?

Yep did mine with Carista. Have been using it for ages now with the mod, haven’t had a chance to change back to see if there is a difference...also it would cost me on the app to do so.

Agree. Doubly subjective. How sensitive is your foot coordination and how smooth can you do it. And if you are inclined think that the effect is more than the obvious one, how open are you to do some more thinking.
This device is now fitted to most motorbike throttles. Very popular.

I did not change anything as it was already in "Direct".
