Changing Phone Contacts Display Sort

My phone contacts are displayed in virtual cockpits in the format 'surname, first name'

Is it possible to change the sort order to 'first name surname'? I've checked the manual but can't see if it's possible.

Are they stored in your phone the same way? I’d assume that the car just displays what the phone presents.

I want this too and not found a way, phone stored as first name, surname, car does opposite!

Nope, phone displays them like a normal person would!

There is a setting in the telephone section of the MMI that allows you to change the sort order.
