Hi All,

I've been having problems with my car, hoping someone can help. In the winter it would keep stalling when it was cold, and the engine continually misfiring. I had no fault codes but put this down to faulty glow plugs from experience. However it recently started to misfire all the time and the engine management light was illuminated. The error on VCDS was displaying a glow plug pressure sensor fault on cylinder 3, which has a special expensive glow plug compared to the rest. I have since replaced all 4 glow plugs with a genuine set from Ebay, but the fault code is still there as well as the continuous misfire. It's getting to the point where I no longer enjoy driving the car, as the gear changes are clunky and shake the whole car like a new driver would do with poor clutch control (it's an auto btw), and can feel the car push back at me when giving it some beans. This seems a common issue on VW so I'm surprised a new glow plug has not resolved. Could I have been out another faulty glowplug? Or is this just a red herring?

The Car is 2015 A3 2.0 tdi quattro with 185bhp.

Any help would be appreciated.

Get it check out by Audi or a specialist.

I had Cylinder 1 issues, that required a brand new engine.
